Leaving a Paper Trail

Sermon Scripture: Matthew 11: 2-10

Point #1: Jesus came into the world to offer salvation for those who believe.

John 3:16 Tell us, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Point #2: We must strive to be Christ-like.

Philippians 2:5-8 says Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus; who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, humbled himself, and became a obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Point #3: We must pass on the gospel.

Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus says All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world.
