The program recognizes the importance of education to our youth and encourages/supports the students interested in pursuing their education beyond high school. The Youth Scholarship program helps address some of the rising costs of post-secondary education for students and their families.

The purpose of the scholarship program is to acknowledge the youth of NAMBC who are attempting to further their education, post high school. The financial gifts and prayers from the church family are intended to support and encourage these students on their journey to reach their academic and spiritual goals.

CRITERIA: To receive consideration, applicants must:

• be current, attending members of New Antioch Missionary Baptist Church

• have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.7 on most recent grade transcript

• write a 500-word biblical essay (title will be provided by the NAMBC Student Aid Committee)

• be enrolled full-time during the academic year in a program leading to a two-year or four-year degree.
