Jesus Isn’t Dead! He’s Still Alive!

Sermon Scripture: John 20:1-18 NLT

Point #1: If Jesus is dead, why did over 500 people witness him alive after his crucifixion?

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:6, NLT, says, “After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died.”

Point #2: If Jesus is dead, why do we still come to church?

Scripture: Matthew 11:28, NLT, says, “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

Point #3: If Jesus is dead, what do you have to lose? Try Him and

see!

Scripture: Psalms 34:8, NLT, says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!”
