HOLY SPIRIT--ACTIVATE!
Sermon Scripture: Galatians 5:16-26 NLT
FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT:
LOVE
JOY
PEACE
PATIENCE
KINDNESS
GOODNESS
FAITHFULNESS
GENTLENESS
SELF-CONTROL
Point #1: Remember the Holy Spirit is a Person!
Scripture: John 14:16-17, NLT, says, “16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. 17 He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him because he lives
with you now and later will be in you.
Point #2: Stay activated with the Holy Spirit!
Scripture: Acts 1:8, NLT, says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me
everywhere—in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Point #3: Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you!
Scripture: Galatians 5:16, NLT, says, “So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.”
