Is God Still Here?

Sermon Scripture: 1 Samuel 4:1-22 (NLT)

Point #1: Don’t assume, know for faith!

Scripture: 2 Cor 13:5, NLT, says, “Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith.”

Point #2: Develop a faith that can move mountains!

Scripture: Matthew 17:20, NLT, says, “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed,

you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”

Point #3: Even in disaster, know that God is with you!

Scripture: Psalms 23:4, NLT, says, “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
