He Didn’t Have to Do It, But He Did!
Sermon Scripture: John 19:6-11 (KJV)
Point #1: God didn’t have to call you out of your sins, But! He did!
Scripture: Matthew 11:28-29, NLT, says: “28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Point #2: A sacrifice was made, don’t let Jesus’ death be in vain
Scripture: Mark 7:6, KJV, saying “He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, These people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.”
Point #3: Won’t He do It? He Already Did!
Scripture: John 19:30, KJV, saying, “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
